Cultural Dates

*Target Offers* 
Go here and select a city to find free or reduced-price admission to arts and cultural events in your area, sponsored by Target. They have select days (first Sunday, etc), but are no cost to attend!

* Library Offers *
Soak up culture free of charge: The neighborhood often library has free passes to local museums as well as other local events.

* Museum *
A lot of museums offer free entrance or discounts to military. If you are in San Diego, Balboa Park has a lot of free things to see and inexpensive natural history museum but be sure to pack a lunch, its not cheap to eat.

* Art Gallery *
Most art galleries are free, so check out new artists in your area. Free wine is often served on the opening night of exhibits. During the summer, Laguna Beach has several art Festivals including the Festival of Arts - Pageant of the Masters tickets start at $15, Sawdust Festival and Art-a-Fair, they aren't free, but they are inexpensive.

* Local Paper *
If you look in any local paper, you can usually find an entertainment section full of cheap activities in the next few days. Stick to your own neighborhood so you won't have to use extra gas or waste travel time.
