Make Your Own: Dog Squeak Toy

Make Your Own:
Dog Squeak Toy

Penelope is a wonderful dog, but she loves to make a hole in her toys that squeak and remove the squeaker and that's the end of that!

What you Need:
1 Replacement Squeaker
2 Old Socks (knee high work well)
Batting/Pillow Stuffing
(Option) Tennis Ball

Take the socks and put them one inside the other, so there are no easily accessible holes or rips. Tie a knot at the toe area so the socks stay together...make sure its REALLY tight so your pup can't take it out. Add batting and squeaker, try to get the squeaker in the middle so your pup can't get their teeth on it immediately. Be sure to add enough batting so that its firm like a stuffed animal. Tie another knot or 2 at the end of the batting area to keep it in place and now you have an inexpensive easy to make dog toy! If you have a tennis ball you would like to add, it works well at the very bottom/toe area and makes it easier to throw.
