Personalized Coupons
The catalinas you receive will be personalized depending on what you have bought recently.
- ex: if you buy a lot of baby items, you will get baby coupons. If you buy a lot of frozen food, you will get frozen food coupons. Although these state “manufacturer’s coupon” on them, they can only be used at Vons.
Signature Cafe
Scan your VonsClub Card when you buy Signature Café sandwich. Every 8th sandwich is free.
Unadvertised Deals
The Vons weekly ad is typically much larger than the Ralphs ad, but smaller than the Albertsons ad. You will generally find a few unadvertised sales each week at Vons.
Rebate Deals
Vons regularly offers Instant Rebate Deals and Coupon Rebate Deals, as well as other sorts of unique rebate deals.
- ex: “buy 4 cereals, get free milk,” or “Buy 3 participating products, get free Charmin.”
Online Shopping
Vons will deliver for a fee of $6.95-12.95, depending on which delivery window you choose. You may not use coupons. Even if you don’t shop online, this can be a helpful way of looking up the regular shelf prices of items that may not be listed in their ad that week.

Vons Doubles Coupons Accordingly...
- The face value any coupon under $0.50 is doubled.
- Any coupon which has a face value between $0.50 & $0.99 is worth $1.
- Any coupon with a face value of $1 or over is worth just its face value.
- If you are using multiples of the same coupon, only the first coupon per transaction is doubled.
- This is important if you are using coupons to stock up. You can do multiple transactions and have the first coupon in each transaction doubled.

- Manufacturers Coupons with an expiration date and barcode.
- Online Printable Coupons that have a face value of less than $5, the words “Manufacturers Coupon” printed on them and a barcode.
- Vons Store Coupons (can be stacked with MQ!).
- Vons Catalina Coupons.
- Digital and eCoupons.
- These are coupons that you can upload to your Vons Card.
- If you buy a qualifying item, the coupon will automatically be applied.
- They are not doubled, and can be combined with paper MQ (not from cellfire).
- You can upload other coupons (similar to the Smart Source insert) to your rewards Card by registering.
Manufacturer + Store Coupons
- Coupons may not be applied against any free items.
- Will accept Catalina or other in-store coupons with another retailer’s logo or name.
- If a $10 minimum purchase is required for a coupon, it is calculated after store coupons/promos, but before MQ.
- Minimum purchase requirements exclude items by law.
Internet Printable Coupons
- IP coupons must scan at checkout.
- Will not accept “free product” internet coupons.

Vons “Super Price” Coupons
These coupons are often found in the weekly flyer. Most of the time, there is a minimum $10 grocery purchase required in order to use any of the Vons coupons. Sometimes the minimum is $20 and sometimes you can only use it on a certain day. Always check the coupon restrictions. The minimum grocery purchase does not mean you have to buy $10 worth of the product you are wanting to use the coupon on, it just means that your grocery order in general needs to be at least $10. What’s nice about this restriction is that the total is BEFORE coupons & discounts!

MailThe most obvious is through their weekly store flyer that is delivered with the junk mail. Mine usually comes in Tuesday’s mail – the day before the new sale begins.
You can also receive exclusive coupons by signing up for their e-mail newsletter coupons.
Printable Coupons
You can print Manufacturer as well as Vons Store coupons by going to their Coupon Link Center on their website. Here you can also load E-Coupons & Vons Store E-Coupons directly onto your Vons Club Card.

--- Safeway/Vons Scan Accuracy Policy ----------------------------------------------------------------
We guarantee the accuracy of our electronic checkout system. Safeway will give you the item free, if the price on your detailed receipt is different (higher or lower) than indicated in advertisements or shown on the shelf price tag. You will only receive one of the items for free with the remaining items at the correct price.
If the item is on sale and register rings up the regular price, the store will only pay the difference on the item. If a customer is overcharged on a Buy One Get One special, not only will they receive the free item, they will receive the overcharged item free as well. It is subjected to a limit of one.
This does not apply to liquor, tobacco, or fluid milk items. In these cases, you will get the item at the sale price instead of free.
