Keep in mind while shopping at the exchanges, prices may vary by store, and there is no sales tax, but there IS a service fee (which is higher than CA sales tax!). Remember to take your reusable bags with you to score 5¢ on each one you use – it will be deducted on your total purchase. Also worth mentioning, the coupons on the AAFES facebook page will be honored at the NEX (read about it here). Plus, note that the coupon states “one coupon per product” – so if you buy 5 of the same items, you can use 5 coupons. And, you can stack these coupons with manufacturer coupons as well...this is RARE and should be noted! This is one of the reasons I don't prefer to shop on base.
